Ever felt like you’ve been running an endless marathon only to realise you’re only about three minutes in the moment you stop to catch a breath?
That’s what the past week felt like anyway. With events popping up left, right and centre, along with forms for data collection under the guise of adhering to SOPs.
There was a welcomed form of spontaneity with certain events. Meeting new and almost familiar faces while learning to place eyes and voices first collected from a distant chance meeting pre-COVID.
With the “new” normal in view, this week’s postcard is perhaps a reminder to keep the people, who truly nurtured your cause and celebrated your beliefs, close. To be wary of the crows that flock at a sight of “new and shiny”. The new and shiny that was initially grey and everyday; carried for and polished by the early adopters.
